Our Programs

Programs Promoting Safety and Stability

Our licensed and accredited programs begin with family preservation to prevent families on the verge of crisis from getting to the point where their kids need the protection of foster care, but if immediate preservation isn’t possible, our caring and compassionate staff work to identify loving foster homes to care for them.

Our team works to create stability and support for these children, their biological families seeking to reunify, and their foster parents who have opened their homes. In an effort to further our wrap-around support even more, we provide adoption services for birth families and adoptive families, as well as a school readiness program that ensures young and vulnerable children are on track to enter kindergarten.

Our programs, services, administration and management have been rigorously evaluated and meet best practice standards. Funding for our services are provided by generous financial support from our community, churches, private donors, estates, trusts and other sources.

Family Preservation

Family Preservation

A program with a 95% success rate that works to keep families together through education and skill-building. When referred by the Dept. of Human Resources, we utilize an evidence-based curriculum to help families in crisis learn how to improve their parenting, build support systems and ultimately provide the best possible care for their kids.

Foster Care

Foster Care

A program that seeks to provide a safe haven for kids in foster care when there is a concern for the safety of a child. We work with caring foster families who open their hearts and homes to kids who cannot live with their biological families due to possible neglect, abuse or abandonment. Our foster care program recruits, trains and licenses foster parents in addition to continually providing support and resources that position foster families for success.

School Readiness

School Readiness

An evidence-based school readiness program that equips parents with a range of resources to ensure their child is ready for kindergarten. We adapt tools such as parent education, vision/hearing screenings, and free books to help meet the individual needs of each parent as they take an active role in their child’s learning.

Adoption Services

Adoption Services

Services that connect parents who would like to adopt with resources and home studies for domestic and international adoptions. In an effort to ensure all children have a safe and loving home environment, our ministry offers these services in addition to Birth Parent interviews and Birth Parent Relinquishments as well as other legal paperwork needed for in state or ICPC adoptions. Furthermore, we conduct required adoptive family assessments and continue working with adoptive families to conduct required home visits and interviews.
