For 130 years, the United Methodist Children Home has answered God’s calling to embrace and nurture vulnerable children, youth and families by providing homes, healing and hope. We are no longer a single, campus-based ministry but have evolved into a vast network of many programs in many locations. After much prayer and consideration, we determined that our ministry has outgrown its name and that “Embrace Alabama Kids” better reflects who we are and what we do. While our name will soon be changing in spring 2021, our mission and focus on ministry remains the same. Whether it’s through a one-time gift or recurring gift, we invite you to join us as we grow into our new name and embrace all kids. We greatly appreciate your gift and the homes, healing and hope it provides.
